These are established programs run by other organizations. We do not run them and we are not paid to list them. We list them because people ask us where to go, and these are where we send them.

Charitable co-pay assistance.

Co-pay and out-of-pocket support for underinsured people being treated for obesity, including with FDA-approved GLP-1 medications. You need qualifying insurance, US residence, and a household income under their threshold. Funds open and close as money is available, so it is worth checking back rather than assuming a closed fund is closed for good.

Directory of assistance programs.

A free, searchable database of patient assistance programs, including the manufacturer programs for individual GLP-1 products, plus a free drug discount card. Useful when you do not qualify for charitable co-pay help, because manufacturer programs use different criteria.

If you are turned down

A denial from an insurer is a decision that can be appealed, and appeals succeed often enough to be worth making. Ask for the reason in writing, ask which policy criteria were applied, and ask what the deadline for appealing is.
