Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Required by Washington’s My Health My Data Act. It is short, because we collect almost no health data at all.

Version 1.0 · Effective September 1, 2026

1. Why this exists

Washington's My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373) and Nevada SB 370 govern “consumer health data” held by organizations that are not HIPAA covered entities. We are one of those organizations, and much of what we publish concerns a medical condition, so this policy applies to us. We provide it to everyone, not only Washington and Nevada residents.

2. What we collect, and why

Almost nothing. Specifically:

  • Your email address, if you ask for updates. Signing up for a GLP-1 organization's mailing list could be treated as linkable to health status, so we name it here. Purpose: to send you the updates you requested.
  • Anything you write to us, if you email us. Purpose: to answer you.

We collect this because it is necessary to provide something you asked us for. We do not collect it for any other purpose.

3. What we do not do

  • The calculators on this site send nothing anywhere. What you type stays in your browser and is not stored on any server, by us or anyone else.
  • We run no advertising pixels, no social pixels, no session replay and no behavioural tracking.
  • We do not use any algorithm to infer your health status, diagnosis, treatment or medication use.
  • We do not use geofencing around any healthcare facility.
  • We do not collect biometric identifiers of any kind.
  • We do not sell consumer health data. If that ever changed, the law requires your signed authorisation first, and we would ask for it.

4. Categories of sources

Directly from you, and only from you. We do not buy, license or receive consumer health data from data brokers, advertising networks or any other third party.

5. Who we share it with

Only the service providers that make this site work, and only so they can do that job:

CompanyRole
Cloudflare, Inc.Hosting, DNS, security
Supabase, Inc.Stores the email signup list
Google LLC (Workspace)Our email

We do not share consumer health data with affiliated companies. Cozy Butter LLC and GLP-1 Studio LLC provide resources featured on this site. Neither receives our mailing list or any consumer health data from us. If that were ever to change, we would update this policy and obtain consent first.

6. Your rights

You may ask us to confirm whether we hold consumer health data about you, to tell you who we have shared it with, to delete it, and to withdraw consent. Write to contact@glp1collective.org.

We respond within 45 days and may take one 45-day extension, telling you why. Deletion reaches our service providers and our backups. If we deny a request you may appeal by replying; we answer appeals within 45 days, and if we deny an appeal we will tell you how to complain to your state Attorney General.

7. Consent

Consent under these laws cannot be buried in general terms. Signing up for email is its own separate, opt-in choice with its own checkbox, and nothing else on this site asks you for health data at all. Any new use would need its own separate consent.

8. Changes

We will post a new version with a new effective date and give notice before a material change takes effect.
